Its not often you get to photograph a subject that is so colourful and also completely devoid of colour. In this case, glass. Part of the beauty of glass, is that in person, as we move we see light dancing around defining shapes and texture. In fact, it often is better seen when its lit from behind or the side. Its a true challenge to capture that in an image, specifically when some of them happen to be clear on a white backdrop. I happen to love challenges, and set out to photograph and catalog this artists amazing work and studio. This place was a magpies dream, full of sparkly things!
