I needed some photos taken of myself in my retail store for marketing purposes. Re was flexible with scheduling, completely professional and provided me with lots of excellent, high res shots. Re Bastien was such a delight to have my photos taken by her for my first time. She is patient and will walk you step by step what will be happening. The shots that she takes are amazing with her lighting positions that make the photos not even look like you. The hair and makeup artist was so great with being respectful of what kind of makeup you’re looking for.She also does different type of sessions which are great options if your looking for something differentI would recommend anyone to Re Bastien for their first time such a great experience I will be coming back to a different session
I had a wonderful experience doing my first ever boudoir session with Re. She has the unique ability to create poses that are pleasing to any body type or figure. I especially appreciated Re helping me feel comfortable and confident during the shoot! The makeup and hair helped too! Thank you. ☺️

I had the pleasure of having a photo shoot done with Re. I took the opportunity of my daughter and my nieces graduation to get family photos done. There were 9 of us, all with ideas of our own. Re was amazing not once did she seem frustrated with us. She took the photos we wanted, then the photos she knew were going to work out. The professionalism of Re was outstanding. We laughed the whole time and had such a great time. Our already special day was made a little more perfect thanks to Re. Once we got our photos back I was once again blown away by the artistry of Re. She was able to capture the subjects so perfectly. Looking at our photos you can see the persons personality so clearly in each photo. I don't usually like having my picture taken, but at this shoot I was relaxed and really enjoyed it. Re makes a nerve racking experience relaxing and so much fun. Thank you Re for an amazing experience. I will be telling everyone I know what a wonderful experience we had.

Hello! I’m Re (pronounced Ree), and I have been photographing people and things professionally over 17 years.
I have always had a fascination with the human form, which originally grew from drawing faces and painting portraits to photography. I love the planning, composing, lighting and creation of the art. I feel portraiture should be empowering and confidence building. It can help celebrate your distinctiveness and authentical self.
My studio is located in the Comox Valley, Vancouver Island, BC. I respectfully acknowledge that the land I am located on is on the unceded traditional and ancestral territory of the K’ómoks First Nation. My studio is an LGBTQIA2S friendly & safe environment.
