Here are some more tips to get the most out of your professional headshot portraits:

Clothing:

Avoid any logos, graphics or slogans on your shirt and clothing. They date your image quickly amd quite often images are cropped to only include part of the logo or slogan.

Avoid busy patterns or stripes.  If you have long hair and wear it down, do not wear the same coloured shirt as your haircolour.

Don’t wear sleeveless shirts unless you have a sweater/blazer/jacket over them. Upper arms often are cropped in headshots and the line diving you skin and sleeve can be distracting on small photos.
