Just add a bit of wind on the beach and you can get perfect ‘care-free’ looking headshots! There is something about a bit of windswept hair that makes a smile look more casual. Of course, if there is no wind, you fake it. One of my tricks is to have my assistant flap a coat or reflector to get a bit of light breeze! Alot of trial and planning goes into a great ‘casual’ smile, which is a fun and silly process to catch natural smiles, but gets the best results.
